Community of Sisters of Charity at Darlinghurst NSW. 1948. The Sisters in the white habit were nurses ministering at Sacred Heart Hospice Darlinghurst and the Sisters in the traditional black habit were teachers at Sacred Heart Primary School Darlinghurst. Teaching and nursing have been traditional expressions of the Congregation's Service of the Poor.
