My parents have always reminded their children that we experience daily God’s gift of love in the depths of our being; and that praying, opening our home, and sharing what God “gives us (as) our daily bread” with others especially the needy are important aspects of living. As a child, I did not fully understand this. Now as a Sister of Charity over the past forty-five years, these guiding words have become “Word made flesh” in my life.

I have lived in Australia for nearly fifty years and have called it “my home”.
The educational achievements and meaningful lived experiences are valuable tools that enable me to be of service to others. These included the fields of commerce/accountancy, education, pastoral counselling and theology for education and leadership. These greatly assist in my grace-filled participation in the ministry of education and the ministry of leadership with the Sisters of Charity.

The Sisters of Charity of Australia, of which I am a member, live out God’s mission and our charism of bringing to each person the love, tenderness, and concern of Christ for the poor, seeing Christ in everyone we serve.
