The Heritage Centre joins the Australian Heritage Festival!
Between 18 April and 19 May, The Sisters of Charity Heritage Centre will be part of the largest community driven celebration of heritage in Australia https://www.nationaltrust.org.au/ahf/
Now in its 44th year, the Australian Heritage Festival is an opportunity for the community to immerse themselves in the country’s rich and diverse heritage. The Sisters of Charity Heritage Centre is delighted to be part of this wonderful event and share this living story with the wider community.
The theme of this year’s Festival is Connections. The Heritage Centre is a place of deep connection – the stories of those before us, special places and major events provide the enduring connections that will shape the future of the ministries and works of the living legacy of the Sisters of Charity.
We welcome you into this special space that invites you to connect with a remarkable and courageous story of being ‘extensively useful’ in service to the Australian community since 1838.
